1. Who we are
Clev ("we", "us") is operated by Alvaro Miguel Daza Hernandez, sole trader, acting as the data controller for personal data processed through the Clev service and website. You can contact us at hello@clev.live.
2. Data we collect and why
- Account data (email, authentication identifiers) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract.
- Usage data (messages, photos you submit, AI responses, daily request counts) — to provide the service and enforce plan limits. Legal basis: contract.
- Messaging identifiers (Telegram user id, WhatsApp phone number) when you link those channels — to deliver answers on those platforms. Legal basis: contract.
- Device & log data (IP address, browser, timestamps) — for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Billing metadata (subscription status, customer id) returned by our payment provider — to manage your subscription. Legal basis: contract.
- Support correspondence — to respond to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
3. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com Market Ltd. — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks. Paddle is an independent controller for that processing.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — to run the service (database, edge compute, file storage).
- AI model providers — to generate responses to your prompts and photos.
- Messaging platforms (Telegram, Twilio for WhatsApp) — to deliver messages on those channels when you opt in.
- Authorities where required by law.
4. Retention
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure for security, accounting, and legal purposes. Billing records retained by Paddle follow Paddle's own retention schedule. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact hello@clev.live. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We respond within one month.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege secrets management.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not set advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
9. Changes
We will update this notice as the service evolves and post the revised date above.
